Return & Cancellation Policy

SHOR Foundation is committed to fair and transparent handling of refund, return, and cancellation requests. This policy explains how requests are handled for donations, marketplace orders, and event registrations.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all transactions made through SHOR Foundation channels, including donation payments, product orders from the shop, and event registration fees.
2. Donation Refund Policy
Donation refund requests must be submitted in writing within 15 calendar days from the donation date. Requests can be sent by email to our support team.
SHOR Foundation examines each request carefully and may ask for additional information or documents before making a decision.
Required details for donation refund requests:
- Date of donation
- Donation amount
- Donation ID / transaction reference
- For card payments: last 4 digits of the card
- For cheque or draft payments: cheque/draft number
Refunds may be declined in cases where tax exemption certificates or statutory receipts have already been issued, or where compliance requirements prevent reversal.
3. Shop Orders: Returns, Replacements, and Cancellations
Order Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled before dispatch. Once an order is shipped, cancellation is no longer possible and the return process will apply instead.
Return Eligibility
Return requests should be raised within 7 days of delivery for items that are damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered.
Items must be unused and returned with original packaging, tags, and invoice. Perishable, made-to-order, personalized, or hygiene-sensitive items are not eligible unless defective on arrival.
Refunds for Orders
After quality verification of the returned product, refunds are processed to the original payment method, typically within 7 to 10 business days.
4. Event Registrations: Cancellation and Refunds
Event registrations may be cancelled by participants up to 72 hours before the event start time to be eligible for a refund, unless event-specific terms define otherwise.
Cancellation requests made after this window, no-show cases, and partially attended events are generally non-refundable.
If SHOR Foundation cancels an event, registered participants are eligible for either a full refund or transfer to a future session, based on participant preference where feasible.
5. Refund Processing Timeline
Approved refunds are initiated within 5 business days from approval. Final credit timing depends on banks, card networks, and payment gateways.
If the original payment mode is unavailable, SHOR Foundation may request alternate beneficiary and compliance documents before settlement.
